What is Microblading?
Microblading is a technique where pigment is embedded in the skin using a manual hand tool. The strokes stimulate natural hair. Results can last from six months to over two years, depending on a variety of factors such as color of pigment, skin type, and lifestyle.
What is semi-permanent makeup?
Semi-permanent makeup are treatments that replicate perfectly applied conventional makeup, most frequently on the brows, lash line, and lips. This is done by inserting cosmetic pigments into the dermis layer of the skin. Also known as Permanent Make-up, Microblading, Micro-Pigmentation, Brow Embroidery, Cosmetic Tattooing, among many others.
How long does the result last?
Generally, Touch ups are recommended yearly to retain shape and saturation. Skin type, age, sun exposure, skin products, immune system, medications, after-care, and lifestyle also affect longevity of the results.
What is the recovery time?
There is no downtime, and you may return to light activities immediately. It usually takes about one week for the skin to heal. The brow will soften in color by up to 30-40%. During this period, after-care procedures should be carefully followed. A touch up session is highly recommended 4-6 weeks after your initial procedure.
Is it painful?
Pain tolerance varies from person to person. When needed, we use effective numbing creams that are FDA approved.
What is expected at the touch up?
Your touch up will be done within eight weeks after the initial treatment, and is highly important to ensure the best results. We use this session to set the shape and color, and make any small adjustments if needed.
